Flying House Threads started the same way a lot of good ideas do, with a love for theme parks, late nights, and wanting to wear something a little different than what everyone else was selling.

We’re inspired by the details. The atmosphere. The music. The moments you don’t realize you’re going to remember forever until you’re already home scrolling through photos wishing you were back. Our designs are nods to those feelings, subtle, nostalgic, and made for people who get it.

We don’t chase trends or mass-produce designs. Most of what we release is limited, sometimes gone for good, sometimes making a surprise return (if we’re feeling generous). We like it that way. It keeps things special, and it keeps our community tight.

Everything we make is designed with intention, from the artwork to the fit to how it feels when you throw it on for a long day out (or a late night in). These are shirts you actually want to wear, not just collect.

At the end of the day, Flying House Threads is about community. It’s about the people who recognize a design without it being explained. The ones who spot someone across the park wearing the same tee and give the subtle nod of approval.

If you’re here, you’re already part of it.

Welcome to Flying House Threads.
We’re glad you found us.

The people behind the brand

Scott

Founder / Design & Social Media

Flying House Threads didn’t start just as a clothing brand; it started as a place to belong. I’ve always loved the parks, the nostalgia, the feeling of escape, but I never really fit the clean, picture-perfect mold of what a “Disney Adult" was supposed to look like. I grew up on punk-pop music, skate culture, tattoos and alternative everything and I realized there were a lot of people out there who shared the same mix of magic and rebellion.

This brand became a way to bring those people together; the outsiders, the creatives, the ones who feel things deeply and live a little differently. Flying House Threads is about community, connection and building something that makes people feel seen. It’s not just tees. It’s a place where Thread Heads can show up exactly as they are and feel seen.

James

Web Design & Marketing / Customer Relations

I’ve spent over a decade in the fashion and apparel space, including more than five years owning and operating a streetwear brand. I was working in apparel and ecommerce before platforms like Shopify became the standard, gaining hands-on experience across early online stores and direct-to-consumer operations. Today, I focus on the backend of the brand, ecommerce systems, marketing infrastructure, customer experience, and fulfillment, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Brendan

Photographer

I’m a San Diego–based photographer shooting documentary, lifestyle, and scenic work on both digital and 35mm film. My style leans raw and nostalgic—more feeling, less polish.

I’m heavily influenced by pop-punk and emo culture, the kind that shaped late nights, burned CDs, and the way nostalgia still hits harder than it should. I’m equally drawn to Disney parks, where storytelling, chaos, and childhood memory collide in the most unexpected ways.

I chase honest light, imperfect moments, and images that feel lived-in rather than manufactured. Film grain, natural color, and emotional storytelling always come first. If it feels too clean, it’s probably not mine
